Interview with graffiti artist Bronk
The street and its culture were present quite early in the life of graffiti artist Bronk, which gave him a lot of inspiration. His style was greatly influenced by the hip-hop album covers of the late 80s and early 90s. During his several years abroad, he met a lot of like-minded people who inspired and shaped his art.

Converse City Forests: The country's first breathing mural in Budapest
Local artists draw attention to important issues around the world by painting fire walls with Converse's City Forests campaign, launched last year. The special feature of the completed paintings is the lime-based paint used during painting, which absorbs carbon dioxide during the drying process, thus acting similarly to a tree.

Westprememural project
The city of Veszprém was also affected by the new wave of street art, fire wall painting, which took place in the concrete jungle of Haszkóvó in the city's largest housing estate. Gergely Ozsváth, a.k.a. Mentha, a musician from the band Hősök, participating in the painting, tells us about the implementation of the project and its background.
Szeged's first firewall painting
Szeged's first fire wall painting commemorates glass painter Manó Róth and the creator of the glass windows of the Szeged synagogue in Hajnóczy Street as part of a European Union project. The huge mural was created by two well-known painters from Szeged, Ákos Marton and Leó Vinkó, mural painters from Muralpaint.hu.

The year 2020 was special for everyone. For Fat Heat, it was because the missed trips gave him the opportunity to create images in a studio setting. This type of methodology confronted him with completely different challenges than the firewall-painted roads. It gave him a chance to escape and served as therapy in the monotony. Some of his paintings respond to the pandemic loneliness experienced in big cities and the virtual crowd of social media.
