Mr. Brum

Imre Fork Budapest graffiti artist and that Ecohunt Mr. Brum the colorful polygon bear was born within the framework of their joint collaboration. We asked the artist how the work was made.

How did you get in touch with Ecohunt?

Last spring, a mutual friend of ours approached me, for one of Ecohunt's projects, Careneval, they were looking for artists inclined to collaboration, so I got into the "street art department". We met a couple of times to discuss the project and a rather active collab-based collaboration began to unfold.

Where did you get the idea to work together?

Careneval was a perfect test plant for how we can think and work together with Bence. After that, things came together quite easily, it often came up to him that they wanted a very colorful installation, would I paint anything? In recent years, I've been looking for direction, how to go next anyway. Painting flat surfaces had already become very routine, and I wanted to break out of this by creating spatial images. This was such a successful process and opportunities became possible that the threads became more and more intertwined. We are currently working on this year's European Jumping Championship round of the Hungarian Equestrian Association. I was asked to design the visual image, then I brought in Ecohunt as spatial elements were also needed: we had to design prizes, obstacles, statues and much more for the event. In the meantime, we have set up our new joint studio, where we can finally create with a united force, so will there be more interesting projects in the near future?

Where did the concept come from?

Benc was approached by an agency that they wanted a nice colorful polygon bear from him, painted with an abstract forest. He designed the bear, I designed the painting, after acceptance the work was completed in about 5 working days.

"We were both happy with the topic, Ecohunt makes animal-specific sculptures anyway, and I love walking in nature. The whole thing was an exciting task, to design the statue in such a way that it could also be painted, but the painting did not distract attention from the shape of the animal."

The bear statue is made of cardboard and is more than 2 meters tall. The painting was done with water-based spray and acrylics and felts with the same components MOLOTOW with his support.

Colors Underground – The Iváncsa Underpass Gets a New Lease on Life

For a long time, the underpass at the Iváncsa train station was just another one of those familiar, functional, yet impersonal spaces. A place people pass through but don’t linger in. Today, however, it offers a completely different experience: colors, shapes, and stories accompany travelers along the way. The decoration is not only a visual renewal but also an imprint of a community-oriented vision—the identities of three towns converge here with László Varga’s unique perspective.

Adam Illes – Reflections

His work titled *Reflections*, installed on the wall of Stratford Junction, explores a theme that is both personal and universal: connection. Not an encounter in the superficial sense, but that rare and elusive moment when two people truly see one another.

When Paint Turns to Glass – Glass Angel

Street art is often about quick gestures and raw energy, but there are works that speak more of patience, precision, and a carefully constructed visual experience. CSM’s work titled “Glass Angel” is the final piece in a four-part mural series that not only posed a serious technical challenge but also holds personal significance for the artist. The transparency of the glass symbolizes fragility, the angel represents beauty and love, while the dark and light tones in the background symbolize the duality of the world.
