Mona Lisa

The cityscape of Szeged has been enriched with another masterpiece, this time one of the most famous paintings by the world-famous Renaissance painter Leonardo da Vinci has come to life in the Muralpaint.hu courtesy of.

The decorator team was contacted by the Dunakor department store, saying that they wanted to make their newly opened store more spectacular and since they were satisfied with their previous work, they turned to them with confidence. The 3 silos, each 20m high, in the yard were the most disturbing factor, with which they definitely wanted to do something. They primarily wanted something spectacular, understandable, recognizable and monumentally feasible. The Mona Lisa is well-known and, according to them, perfection and art jump out at first for everyone, so it was not far from the image of the paint shop.

The final idea came from the head of Ákos Marton, one of the team members, during a joint planning, what if a really well-known painting was considered. The final plans were made by graphic designer Krisztián Wolcsánszky.

The gliders were painted with two-component paint, since they are metal tanks, so other paint was out of the question. Of course, they also went at him with a can at certain points for the sake of the spectacle. The walls were given their final shape with outdoor paint. They primarily worked with a combination of the usual roller, brush and can, but for the needle-sharp lines they also used really fine brushes during painting, since quite a lot of text was painted.

The entire decoration, which roughly means the wall surface facing the entire street and the painting of the 3 silos of 20 meters each, which is 1,700 square meters, was completed in about 3 weeks.

Colors Underground – The Iváncsa Underpass Gets a New Lease on Life

For a long time, the underpass at the Iváncsa train station was just another one of those familiar, functional, yet impersonal spaces. A place people pass through but don’t linger in. Today, however, it offers a completely different experience: colors, shapes, and stories accompany travelers along the way. The decoration is not only a visual renewal but also an imprint of a community-oriented vision—the identities of three towns converge here with László Varga’s unique perspective.

His work titled *Reflections*, installed on the wall of Stratford Junction, explores a theme that is both personal and universal: connection. Not an encounter in the superficial sense, but that rare and elusive moment when two people truly see one another.

When Paint Turns to Glass – Glass Angel

Street art is often about quick gestures and raw energy, but there are works that speak more of patience, precision, and a carefully constructed visual experience. CSM’s work titled “Glass Angel” is the final piece in a four-part mural series that not only posed a serious technical challenge but also holds personal significance for the artist. The transparency of the glass symbolizes fragility, the angel represents beauty and love, while the dark and light tones in the background symbolize the duality of the world.
