In Tárnok, the most famous sci-fi film characters of 20th century pop culture come to life in the noise barrier next to the MÁV railway station.
Four graffiti artists and the TCH Tárnoki Art Association a new continuous mural has been added to the grey noise barrier, improving the well-being of the residents.
The idea had long been a topic of conversation in their circles, but unfortunately it was only talked about until Mejo approached them about painting our noise barrier. They'd done a lot of work with him, so they did a 'fairytale world' set for this wall too. Mejo had a sci-fi theme in mind and that's how it turned out. He was joined by three fellow artists Rawman, Time and Csmstyle. Then, once their visual design was finished, they sent it to the railway company.
The artists have been making decorations for railway underpasses and noise barriers for a long time, so we have a good relationship with the railway company. They send a visual plan of each work to the authorities, and they usually approve and give permission for mural painting, respecting the rules of work safety. After the permits were granted, TCH TME sought a sponsor, whose support helped to cover the need for materials and equipment.
It's called 'Wonders of Outer Space', and features the iconic characters from the Star Wars film, but it's not exhaustive.

The wall was founded with exterior primer over an area of 130 m2. All other work was done using spray paint. It took several weekends and weekdays to complete. About 10 times with everything included.
Children love it because it recreates the look of the movie, and the residents of the surrounding apartment buildings are very happy with the decoration because they don't have to look at the grey concrete wall.
